 Chief External Affairs Officer, PPF Group


Jan serves as a Chief External Affairs Officer at PPF Group, covering PA, PR, Regulatory, Thought Leadership, and ESG in 24 markets of the Group's operations. He has been with PPF since 2017, and for most of these years, he was based in Asia (Beijing, Hong Kong), running external affairs and business development at Home Credit Group, PPF's financial arm.

Before that, he worked for the Czech Government, advocating and shaping health reform as the Director-General at the Ministry of Health. He also coordinated multiple international projects, working with the EU, WHO, and UN.

Jan is closely connected to academia, teaching behavioural economy in finance and healthcare at universities in Asia and Europe. He is especially interested in how digital innovation can create financial inclusion and health equality. He studied at Cambridge, Columbia and Prague. In his spare time, Jan plays basketball, listen to classical music, reads about history, and travels with his wife and daughter.
